    Tried switching the vertical sync, no change. Next step will be swapping out Q201 and Q202 which are D2061’s

    Great info, thanks. I have not changed any of the switches, this repair was for a friend who said it was previously working. They did have another individual look at it before me so it’s possible he could have changed something.

    It does move the image in response to the pot when adjusting them but the image stays on the right side. Is it possible that the problem can originate in the multigame that this machine is using?

    Did the cap kit, no change, all the caps pulled looked good on the ESR meter.

    Thats the part that has confused me, I don’t see one. Attached to the heatsinks are a STK73410 (power transistor I assume) D5702 (HOT -assumed) and two D2061’s which I have not determined what they are used for.

    It appears to be different enough, the 2001 manual specifies replacing the TDA1675 as it controls the vertical circuit but it does not exist on a 2001SF.

    Baby pac does not use the 6.5v at TP1 or +230v at TP2, 0v is a correct reading. Your TP3 reading appears to be 1.06VDC, which is why you're not getting any LED's at the boards. Start with grounds and connections, do you have the third prong intact on the power cord? If not replace it, if yes...

    I gave my DK JR to a friend and they need to make a horizontal hold adjustment. As long as I could give them a better picture than what is in the manual they are more than capable of doing it. I'd go fix it myself but I moved away... TIA

    Of the games I have played on that are on the list; Star Trek Voyager- utter crap. Basically a bad attempt at a shoot em up. P.O.W.- Freakin' rocks. How did he ever get the explosives to blow the jail cell?... Elevator Action- sweet, if you like elevators and shooting guys in the face...
