Also, did you have to do anything special to the monitor so that it automatically starts up when power to the arcade game is switched on (not require the lcd monitor power button to be pressed every time that you want to play the game). You actually live pretty close to me, I live just east of Akron and would love to just bs with you about arcade games sometime as well if you are up for it

Hello. I was watching the video that you created "Space Invaders Arcade Monitor Replacement Follow Up" and it was very informative. Thank you for making it. How did you wire the power to the lcd? Did you cut the lcd monitor power cable and wire it to the ac of the arcade game or did you mount a power strip (cut the power strip and wire to ac of the arcade) and plug the lcd into the strip.
