I also recommend upgrading the 7-opto widebody ball trough PCBs to the new ones from Great Lakes Modular - $60 for the pair, plug-n-ply and a vast improvement over the stock ones. RussM

Again, they may have the appropriate complete assembly, rather than the individual parts. Keep up up to date on the progress. Have you checked the LOOP gate function on both sides yet? RussM
