Hi there, was sent here by the NEACF board, wonder if you could give my Asteroids cocktail a once-over. It plays fine but buzzes, smells a bit like something burning, and screen brightness wavers bright/dim. I live in Portsmouth, house call would be great though I maybe could deliver if I could get help lifting. TIA!

i looked at a asteroids deluxe for a guy.no 5 volt to cpu. water damage to the bottom, bad bridge rectifier in power brick. fixed that.cpu gets 5 and 36v. no sound( except hum) , spot killer on, no HV . 63 volts to HV . i told him its too ratty to repair, but he is dead set on it. if he pulled the HV , deflection, and CPU and sent them to you, would you want the job to go over them and repair? thanks

I had a friend who just got a seawolf. it was one of my favorite games when I was a kid and I was looking at klov and saw that you have the exact game I used to play when I was a kid at paragon park. I remember on friday nights when my parents would eat dinner at jakes and when I was done I walked across the street to paragon and played that seawolf and eventualy tail gunner in that arcade. glad to know that game found a good home instead of a land fill . no I am not trying to buy it since my friend has one I can play it all I want anyways and have no place for another game. was wondering though if you knew if there was a way to decrease the width of the image on the screen. I can't seem to find an adjustment to do it though my friends is so covered in gunk I can't read things anyways, it has been an interesting experience putting his game back together. interesting how to set the game for free play

ive got a centipede with no 5V on the pcb. R29 burned up. all the other text point voltages are good. i see there is no 5v test point due to the sense circuit? any idea what would fry r29? i was going to replace the r29, 3055 reg and trimpot and see what happens, but the game is no real local to me and i wanted to get an idea up front whats what first. i guess there is no way to bench test it ? do you have one for sale?

Hey Andrew,

I had said I would send you my Battlezone Boards for rebuild once I had tested them out in another cab. I finally located a cab last weekend and three boards, High Score Upgrade and New Interconnected were all working normally. So for now, I am headed back to look at the harness, however I want to thank you for taking the time to help me out. I appreciate it very much, thank you.
