Can the problem be a bad POKEY ? I had to order one because the asteroids doesn't break apart when you shoot them. I see in the Schematics that the POKEY also connects with the Dip switch.

Thanks asteroidsNut !! I'm learning something everyday. So I guess the problem it's not the door. How do I get it out of free play? I already changed the dip switch in the board and still can't get it out of free play.

The start buttons flash and I have the 8 position toggle switch they way you said and the coin counter works but the arcade still plays without inserting coins.

I have the switch for the test mode and it works. I'm just trying to get the arcade to work using the coins.

I can go to test mode just by putting in test. I'm just trying to get the arcade to work using coins also, If I put a coin in now it changes the count but that's about it.

Hi all!! I'm new here and need some help please, I'm trying to get the coin mechanism to work. I see 2 wires hanging from a harness next to the interlock switch in the coin door, one wire is white and the other is black, do they have to be plug somewhere ? You can see them here in the picture.

New here and I just got my first arcade 3 days ago. Got an Asteroids Deluxe in very good condition and it works great! I am so happy I found this forum you guys are awesome !!!
