The pcb seems to be in great condition. I know there is an issue with the power supply as when it is plugged in it blows a fuse. When replaced the new fuse immediately blew. As for the monitor when plugged in does turn on but there is severe burn in.

That is with a shit load of sanding... As far as touching up the paint does anyone have any idea what type of paint I should use?
The only thing is, THe entire machine is original, including the roms. I want to preserve it... Is the overlay an original, or was it something replaced at some point in time?
Also would it still decrease the value of the machine?
It turned out that the other overlay was just hiding the real one. Well, sort of. The overlay I have now doesn't look like any I've ever seen. Although it was made for the Robotron. Here are some pictures.

I am restoring a Robotron, when I recieved the machine, it had some other controls on it.

Sorry bout that. Its Robotron 2084. All of the Roms are the originals from 1982... I hope they still work, I just really want to know how reliable they usually are. Any info would help. I really dont care if the info you have is on the same ones. Im just wanting to konw in general.
