Tech: Williams 1942 to iCade 60 in 1 ~ Screen Problems (Refresh Rate?)

Perfect, thanks. I had left it out for fear of frying something and then forgot I never got back to it. I'll stick it in one of the logic grounds and see if that clears it up.

Tech: Williams 1942 to iCade 60 in 1 ~ Screen Problems (Refresh Rate?)

Friday bump! So, I tried the board in another 60in1 machine and it works fine, so it's definitely this board as it interfaces with the K4900 monitor in the 1942 cab. Question, when I did the mapping for the 1942 harness to the Jamma card, there was a Video Ground coming off the 1942 harness...

The artwork is actually new. What was on there was toast and a much different crappy printing of something. This sucker was in bad shape.

Hmm, so it does. I hadn't noticed it before. So this is an interesting conversion for sure, as the boards aren't even 1942 originals, but transplanted ROMS?

Tech: Williams 1942 to iCade 60 in 1 ~ Screen Problems (Refresh Rate?)

First, thanks for the reply here guys. I"m a pinball guy by hobby, so I don't have a ton of experience in arcades. I've done a few iCades over the years, really just for some family, and it's always worked out pretty well. This is the first one i couldn't figure out entirely. Hopefully that...

Tech: Williams 1942 to iCade 60 in 1 ~ Screen Problems (Refresh Rate?)

Hi, I have a Williams 1942 arcade that I am trying to install an iCade 60 in 1 card in. The iCade seems to boot and play fine with all buttons registering properly, but the screen has an odd effect on it. I'm not exactly sure what to call it, but there are lines scrolling from left to right...

Bally ProSlot 6000 - Error Code Identification

Thanks for the reply. It's interesting, as when I went to check it over again, the code changed to 5.0. I do have a manual, and per that, it's a reference to not enough change in the hopper. There is plenty in there, but shuffling around did the trick and it's back up and running. I'm going...

Bally ProSlot 6000 - Error Code Identification

Hey guys. Wondering if someone can help me out on identifing some errors that are coming up on a Bally ProSlot 6000. See the attached photos. I've tried doing a hard reset on the board, but nothing i seem to do clears this. Anyone have any idea hat this means? It either boots up with 4.01...

Found or No Longer Wanted WTB: Bally 6803 Display

Funny thing is, now it's a mission. This display is taunting me, and I shall conquer it...some day. A bit of fun tinkering. In the meantime, the purest in me is holding out for real plasma if anyone has an extra they'd like to part with.
