Panels painted. I just need to wait for the overlays to come in. Already have the switches.
New lighting for the control panels , installed. I just hope the monitor frame can fit.
I figured that I would try a different light set up, instead of two light blobs behind the white plastic above the control panel.

Managed to locate some original control panels, and they are now ready for paint.
Had to buscuit and dowel some wood sections in, and then added a black laminate to the top.
