Xmen 4 player error in 13b

Anyone encountered this before? It has er5911 silk screened above it and 8822da on tue chip. I'm guessing this is not a custom? Anyone know if I can just replace it and if one exists?

I had that error and replaced the chip from a parts board. I didn't try sourcing a replacement.

I had that error on an xmen board and the image was flipped also, that board ended up in the parts pile unfortunately. It could have been repaired but the custom sound IC was actually smashed. who knows I may revive it some day if I get really board but for now its shelved. I have looked up the part before it's not a custom so getting a replacement should be easy.

It´s an EEPROM that save the program options, you just need to get a new one and replace it

Try to initialize the EEPROM again by pushing the TEST switch and hold it while powering of the board.If it fails (BAD EEPROM BIT) you have to replace the chip (and repeat the initialize procedure)
