Default Bottle Pepsi machine help

A friend has a Pepsi machine that takes bottles. He is wanting to put it on "free". How do you do that? There has to be a release some where that allows a person to pull a bottle out paying?
Thanks
Bill

The only machines I've ever owned with free vend are the newer multi-price machines that are computer controlled. All my other machines go as low as .05, but no lower. I've heard of people making a push button on the end of a cable that plugs into the Jones plug where the changer goes.

Yeah my coke machine would go as low as .05, I'm trying to recall, but I think you can wire a button to the coin mech switch to hit, that would activate the release.
