I think Metroid should be in the top 3 for sure.

I agree. I also think Final Fantasy should be ranked higher than Dragon Warrior and The Adventure of Link should make the top 10.

Ninja Gaiden!?! That was one of the worst games on the NES, I rank it right up there with Nightmare on Elm Street...

Rygar is 59. Yeah Rygar does kick ass. I didn't have the game back then so I went over to my friend Scott's place over and over and played it until I finally beat it. Unfortunately, Scott later killed himself.

I would put the first Zelda and Metroid as 1 and 2, in either order.

Rygar is 59. Karnov didn't make it.

I really don't like ports being on the list, or at least high on the list. Rygar and Karnov were good games but the Atari Karnov was better (I don't have any experience playing the arcade version) and the arcade version of Rygar was much better.

I agree that Zelda and Mettroid should be in the top two spots. I also never liked Contra and if it wasn't for the 30 man cheat code I doubt it would have made the list...
