I have an older clean sweep crane game/ claw machine. Can someone please let me know how to adjust the claw strength? It's not the newer type where you can just turn a knob I don't think. I'm posting pictures too of the two inside boards. Take a look and let me know please.

The rheostat on the lower RH corner of the board should be claw strength.

i think that might only be sound fx volume.
clean sweeps are dip switch adjustable
for claw strength, if i recall. there are 2
switches whose combination will give you
70% / 80% / 90% / 100% but without a manual,
i couldn't tell ya which ones.

I doubt that's sound, but I could be wrong.
We used to have a couple of Clean Sweep cranes on the route. I don't recall any of them having any sound. I've got two Clean Sweep boards on the shelf here, neither one with sound. I don't see any sound circuitry on that logic board either. Also, that pot is mounted right along with all the output relay's for the carriage motors, next to the carriage harness connector.

It is done with the rheostat at the lower right corner of the pcb in your picture . There is no sound controls on these old boards. Some of these boards have had these removed or just bypassed by shorting them out and running full strenght on the claw.
Good luck.
