I am looking for both an air hockey table and a foosball table. I want quality. What brands should I look for? What brands should I avoid? Should I look strictly for arcade quality (coin door, etc) or are there any decent home units of these types of games?

For air hockey it's Dynamo coin op all the way.

For foosball the old coin op "Tournament Soccer" were good. They are now made under the "Premier Soccer" name.

Dynamo made a home model of it's coin-op air hockey. Big 8ft sucker just like in the arcades. Very nice machine and WAY better than that Sears, Academy, etc crap.

The Tornado foosball tables are pretty nice, too, but I don't play foosball, so I can comment on how well they play, but the pro foosball players endorse it, so it cant be that bad...

Everyone around here seems to have "Rhino" air hocky tables for sale. $200-$250 range... says they are 300lb tables. What scares me is that they are bought originally from Costco (IE: They are likely ass).

These are the ones my company sells when we get customers who want one for their home:

I actually saw one on Craigslist down here for about $700 a few months ago....
