View Full Version : Sara meets a Kangaroo.
I was browsing eBay for an NOS Kangaroo overlay last night, and Sara (who is a new co-worker, and kind of cute), came over and pretended to be interested. :)
Do you all think that is a good sign?

Sounds like you need to teach her about how to manipulate a 49 way joystick to get the best score possible.
Just don't let her put her initials in afterwards...lol
I was going to insert a joke about a joystick that gets used so little that it could pas for NOS, but I decided against it.
I might be asking her out soon. I haven't dated regularly in FAR TOO LONG, and she is kind of the type of girl I like. Plus she can apparently at least PRETEND to be interested in games. So that is a definite bonus.

For some reason, this whole thread makes me remember back to something I believe Gary Vincent said about a lady with no kids... "So, the coin box is in good shape... What about the counter?" :D

If it doesnt work out, send her my way. I could use a woman who can at least pretend to like games.

Lol... I think my girlfriend hates me. Shes cute and 12 and sits next to me in 1 class at school. At least she took the "free quarter" from me yesterday!
Your girlfriend is TWELVE?
Please say that you are a similar age =)

LOL! Suddenly, I don't think the coin box/coin counter line is very appropriate.

Well I still haven't gotten around to actually asking this girl out. Man, it seemed so much easier when I was younger.

Go now don't look back we've drawn the line
move on it's no good to go back in time
I'll never find another girl like you,
for happy endings it takes two
we're fire and ice,
the dream won't come true
Sara, Sara, storms are brewin' in your eyes
Sara, Sara, no time is a good time for goodbyes
danger, in the pacman game when the stakes are high
branded, my heart was branded while my senses stood by
I'll never find another girl like you, for happy endings it takes two
we're fire and ice, the dream won't come true
Sara, Sara, storms are brewin' in your eyes
Sara, Sara, no time is a good time oh
Sara, Sara, storms are brewin' in your eyes
Sara, Sara, no time is a good time for goodbyes
('cause Sara) loved me, like no one ever loved me before
(and Sara) hurt me, no one could ever hurt me more
(and Sara) Sara
(and Sara) nobody loved me anymore
I'll never find another girl like you
we're fire and ice, the dream won't come true
Sara, Sara, no time is a good time oh
Sara, Sara, storms are brewin' in your eyes
Sara, Sara, no time is a good time for goodbyes
Sara, Sara, storms are brewing in your eyes
Sara, Sara, no time is a good time, no

Rest assured, they are. They have the same numbers in their age. She has "1" & "2" and he has "2" & "1".... :)

It's like they always say, though...
Age is just "mind over matter."
If she doesn't mind... it doesn't matter. ;-)

what ever happened to good ol' sara? is TBBK Stratovoxing her now?
Eh. I asked her out. She dodged my question. That was right before she was leaving for a two week vacation.
But, one of the other girls at work told me that she talks about me A LOT. So who knows.

My favorite line in this thread is "I haven't dated regularly in FAR TOO LONG" and he's 13! 13 years has been a long time, huh? Just messing with you...

When you're thirteen, a week is far too long. I remember I was dating this girl in Jr. High....we were together forever. It must have been three weeks! :smirk:

TF i have the solution to that problem. Just pretend to be gay and interested in steamy hot young men. Watch how fast dad lets you go out on a date with the gal of your choice.

techfurious...he's got a point. Next time you hang out with your dad, mention something about "cute guys" and tell him that Will and Grace is your favorite show. You'll be all set on your first date with a girl :)

Oh, me girlfriend is 13 now. Birthday for her was december 21 1989 btw.
I have pretty much lost all interest in the Sarah I started this thread about, but there is another one. This one is an ultra-conservative thinnish redhead who is around 25. I have kind of had a thing for her since around 1993 or so. But we never actually even spoke until about a month ago. (We just knew some of the same people, and I would always seem to see her somewhere 3 or 4 times a year).
I finally got to talk to her at a church thing my friends took me too. Well, I heard her talk alot, and then talked to her myself for a few minutes later. She ended up being EXACTLY the person I had always thought she was.
So, I saw her Sunday and I totally pulled a dork move straight out of a movie. I was talking to my friends in this parking lot and she comes out of the building, she is kind of far away but she smiles and wave, I wave back and then realize that she wasn't waving at me, but at someone in a car who was much closer to her.
Of course my friends thought this was hilarious, and so did Sarah's sister (who saw me wave). Sarah didn't seem to notice herself, but I know her sister must have told her about it.

Don't sweat it, m'man. Most of those so called "dork moves" come across as "cute" to most ladies. And if they don't, they are stuck-up mall chicks that you wouldn't wanna kick it with anyway. Drive on.

Yep, youre right chowda. The opposirte sex is plain weird at times. Theres this 1 girl who i swear, smiles at me everytime i pass her (which is like 5 times a day). I bet she is flirting with me. She sat next to me TWICE (when she could) in science so she could see everything up and close, whee. Oh, I got more girl trouble going on, as shown by my sig  .
