would like a 49-way Optical Joystick manual/schematic

I cant seem to find one on here or in a google search, anyone have a pdf file or a link i could use? I cant seem to figure out how to wire 4 of these into a jamma cab for nba jam. no matter how i connect the wires to the joysticks board, the only buttons that work are for 1 and 2 player from the original buttons connected to the jamma harness, i cant get anything to go to the cp thru the optical board for the joysticks...

Both Pigskin 621 and Arch Rivals used the 49way optical sticks. Download their manuals. Pigskin has a schematic but the pinout is difficult to figure out. Arch Rivals does NOT have the schematic, but the pinout is very clear.

Why not just put good quality 8 ways in? That's what I did in my Gauntlet Legends / NBA Jam combo cabinet and it works great.

yeah i could, i just wanted to try our these 49 way as ive never used any before and wanted to see what it was like or see if they even work.

Having gone from 49 way sticks to nice 8 ways on Gaunt Legends, I can say there's no appreciable difference.
