Does Las Vegas or Atlantic City sell real slot machines used in casino's? I've been pricing real ones and their outrageous!! Gambling is legal in PA now so I figured I could get one for the game room to make some extra cash!! http://forums.lymphoma.com/forums.arcade-museum.com/images/ubbgraemlins/smirk.gif

Yes, there are slot dealers in Vegas, Reno, and Atlantic City. If your state just became legal then you need to contact some dealers and let them know.

L.A. Slots (www.laslots.com) in Los Angeles is a big slot dealer. There are several slot dealers in Arizona too worth checking out.

In the next several months, thousands of slots are being replaced in Mexico with more modern ones. There'll be a lot of cheap slots coming in from Mexico so ask some of the dealers about it. IGT and Bally are the top slot machine manufacturers.

Not that I would ever suggest telling someone to import an illegal electronic gaming device into your state. There are some state near you that sell modern slot machines ( Kentucky ?) You might have to not say what state your from and that its for personel amusment. They usualy disable the coin mech to take just about any type of coin, but you can swap them out with a working one. The newer ones types of machines may requier you to get a reset chip to set up any options and payback percentage. Those are a pain to get a hold of because they are sometimes controlled by the gaming commission.

A big casino in Reno recently went under, they had a big auction of all the equipment. The ugly slant top style of slots and video pokers were going as cheap as $25 ea. Problem was a private citizen was only allowed to buy 3 machines. Gaming control was there making sure this rule was enforced, and were checking to make sure no one out of state bought them.

If you really want one, go to a town like Reno or Vegas and search the classified ads, pawn shops, antique shops, etc. They are all over.
