Typing www.vaps.org (http://www.vaps.org) into your browser automatically redirects you to http://www.arcade-museum.com/vaps/ ... unless you a Comcast user.
Skeezing Comcast hijacks 301 redirects claiming it is a web site error and shows you their own ads they charge advertisers for. [A 301 redirect is a standard method of updating a web address and the way Google tells you to do it so Google doesn't punish your rankings]
As part of a minor site upgrade this week I need to add some 301s to some of the pages on klov.com to redirect to arcade-museum.com.
I can code around this problem for comcast users, but I figure if comcast is being this slimy, I figure other ISPs might also.
Who besides Comcast users can't bring up WWW.VAPS.ORG? (http://WWW.VAPS.ORG?) That is, can't bring it up where it automatically brings you to the VAPS site?
Please let me know, so I can ensure your experience here (and the experience of others) is not impaired...
