When I saw the first picture of the side art elements fresh from the printer I thought to myself, oh man he is going to ruin a beautiful cabinet that he has put so much time into! And then I scrolled down, all I can say is amazing....You nailed it, that thing is beautiful.

So is the radarscope cockpit just a regular upright with an attatchment bolted to the front?

no sir. the main cabinet on the radar scope is deeper with the extra wood for the sides. this extra wood is used to connect the players seating area. to join the two halves requires 8 metric bolts.

I posted on coinopspace...absolutely beautiful..one of the best restorations I've seen for such a rare piece with little reference...If I owned Nintendo you'd be hired as artwork and game design consultant...:D

I just wanted to say, great job! I am interested in your side art but am curious why you did it in three separate adhesive pieces. Why not make one composite image? Can you share the files? Is the ship the same as the art on the original cabinet?

well for both of the sides of the cabinet, i paid over 130.00. with funds just about shot in my wallet, i decided to basically "cut and paste" the graphics to make one big image.
Awesome restoration! I congratulate you on bringing back such a rare cab, especially on how well you fixed it up. That must have taken forever to hand cut that spaceship, no?

I had no idea a cockpit version existed! I heard that Radar Scope bombed in the arcades, hence the red DK's you see around, but that RS was done right!

That looks fantastic! You did an incredible job, the attention to detail is great. That is certainly a rare cab. How are the erognomics, it looks like it would be easier to play standing, rather than sitting. Again, you did a beautiful job!
