I have a cosmic avenger to restore.

What type of t-molding came with cosmic avenger from the factory. Was it the same with all universal cabs?

Mine has some woodgrain t-molding and I doubt it is orgional...

Thanks
Dave

That woodgrain molding is original on Universal cabs, and it's not really a tmold I don't think.. it's more of a peel and stick edge banding.

Thank you.. That peel and stick is kind of what it does look like to me too.. I think there is still a slot for tmolding though, I really can not look right now to verify because the game is in storage till I move. Any idea were to get this peel and stick stuff if it is even made? Any idea what the stuff is called? I think mine is not in the greatest shape.

I can only speak about my Cosmic Guerilla, which is 2 years younger, but with the same cabinet .. and would bet my left nut that it's the same construction ...

It will be 'flat' t-molding. It definately looks like the standard iron on flat edging, but the cab will have a std t-mold slot and t-mold fitment.
I am unaware of any new similar t-molding

#edit# Cosmic Guerilla had White t-mold though.

Iron-on that is very possible and I never thought about that.

That is a pic of mine, on the left you can see it was patched with a different color. It looks factory to me.

This is the only pic I have of a cosmic avenger. This one is missing the Tmold. Looks to have a groove also. Have not seen it in a while. If I remember right the dedicated Mr Do!s had the same wood grain T-mold.

Another thing I have noticed is some cosmic avengers have speakers in the back and some in the top.. Wonder why two diferent versions? Was one a conversion? Mine are in the top.

My dedicated Cosmic Avenger came from the factory with flat black molding. I converted it to a Mr. Do and sold it.

Phetishboy is it actual t-molding or is it the flat stuff like prok was talking about?

Not sure, you can ask Flynn2XXX or whatever his handle is. He came from Green Bay and picked it up from me.

To graphic? I can pull the pic.

The t molding looked to be origional on this and another universal cab I had.

The cab delaminated on me and I was bummed.
